Once upon a time in Brooklyn, New York (2001 to be specific), Malicious Designs was born.

Sheana Hinesley wanted to tap back into her source of joy, so she decided to drop out of art school. During her time spent in NYC she had noticed that there wasnt much of a market for one-of-a-kind, hand-made garments, so she decided to create her own. By 2005, Malicious Designs was sold in over 50 boutiques world-wide. Rather than moving to factory-made garments (not wanting to compromise the integrity of her designs) she continued to hand sew each item, making them truly a labor of love. After taking a 5 year hiatus to raise her son and a move to the west coast, she's creating her magical dresses again. Providing the world with "an edgy cuteness for the woman who is about to get in her next bar fight" one babydolll at a time.
